In order to overclock though, you need a special cooling system, a typical heatsink and fan just wont cut it. Gaming computers often use liquid cooling systems.

Of course gaming computers can be quite expensive and if you plan to purchase a gaming computer instead of building it yourself, you need to analyze your budget and see what components you might choose on a system builder. System builders allow you to choose the components rather than just pick any computer of any specification out there on the market. If you are trying to game, make sure you purchase a computer that is made and advertised specifically for this purpose and not just a really nice basic desktop computer.
